Why Write a Will

If you are Married

Don’t assume everything will go to your wife or husband. Children, brothers, sisters and even in-laws may inherit part of your estate.

If You are Unmarried

Even if you have children together your partner may get nothing.

If you are Separated

Your separated spouse will inherit part of your property.

If you are Parents

A Court will appoint guardians and decide who will bring up your children.

If you are Single

Your friends, family and charities may not benefit from your estate as you may wish.

And for Everyone

If you wish to leave a gift of personal items or a sum of money, you can only be sure of this by making a will.

In addition

Many are concerned by the community Care Act and the effects it is having on the Estates of the Elderly. If we plan ahead we can help to mitigate this very worrying problem and set up a special Trust within the Will.

For those who have a worry about possible Inheritance Tax Bill, again, by planning ahead we can set up a discretionary trust within the Will to help mitigate this problem.
